Asda Eyeshadow

I went to my local Asda and had a quick look at their makeup range, all the items were reduced to a quid each! So I thought, what's the harm in trying something for a £1.

I stood and looked at the eyeshadows, they had a range of about 20 colours to choose from, most were pretty crazy bright colours and it's coming up to summer so I thought, why not?

I purchased Bright Green (no. 16) and Aqua (no.11)

The swatches are over Benefit's Lemonaid. The shadows are really pigmented, especially the blue which has a slight shimmer to it, the green in a bit more matte. I really love both colours for lining the lower lash line, they look great when paired with a neutral lid for the "pop of colour" look. With my blue eyes, they work great and make my eyes stand out.
I wouldn't say they were particulary chalky and there's not a lot of fall out.
Overall, I think these shadows are really good and for a pound, you can't really go wrong, can you?

For the Americans out there, you may be able to find them at Wal-mart with it being Asda's parent company.

I'd really recommend them, I'm going to go and purchase more colours, maybe the bright pink and a dark blue :)

xoxo
Amy
